Paramount came out with a romantic/comedy motion picture “No Strings Attached,” and it was hilarious, providing a bunch of laughs.
I’m not usually a big fan of romantic/comedy pictures, but I knew this one would definitely be great because of Ashton Kutcher and the nature of the storyline. It stars: Ashton Kutcher, Natalie Portman, Greta Gerwig, Kevin Kline, Ophelia Lovibond, Ben Lawson, Chris Bridges, Olivia Thirlby, Jake M. Johnson, Lake Bell, Guy Brannum, and Cary Elwes.
The film centered around individuals Emma and Adam. Adam and Emma have known each other well since highschool, from the time that Adam attempted to cop a feel from Emma. After that, the flick fast forwards to a college frat party where Adam and Emma see each other again since that bizarre highschool night.
They exchange hellos,Adam oddly tells her he likes her,and then they end up going out for a little bit. Then they lose touch for one more year, and discover each other again, but under unusual circumstances. Then it fast forwards slightly to where Adam discovers that his papa has connected with his ex-girlfriend.
He winds up getting drunk because of it, and winds up at Emma’s place, passed out and exposed on the sofa the next morning. It’s an incredibly amusing scene because everyone of her friends is there, lounging around him. After Emma informs him the loco things he did when he was drunk, they kiss and have sex.
From that point, Adam is really in love with her,but she merely wants to stay friends, extraordinary friends, friends with benefits. Adam, surely, agrees to the wild,non-emotional,sex-friendly, relationship. The flick shows them making love just about everywhere. I mean virtually all over the place, and they’re not shy about it either. It’s just a very humorous flick.
Everything appears to stay going ok until Adam sets out to show he cares for her, while she ignores her feelings. They fight back and forth, continuing to have sex until Adam doesn’t want that form of relationship anymore. The flick wraps up with Emma noticing that she misses the hell out of him after being apart for so long.
However, she doesn’t attain a warm reception when she tries to get back into his life, and thinks she might have lost him forever. She winds up being required to make moves she’s never done before to get him back. It was a real feel-good moment at the end. In my opinion, the film was fantastic. It was loaded with plenty of laughs and one-liners.
Natalie Portman did a cool job, playing the emotionless female role. She showed a sense of humor I didn’t know she had. I really didn’t think she’d be as comical as she was. She had me cracking up. As expected, Ashton was hysterical in the film . It also featured rapper Ludacris who brought tear watering laughs to the flick.
It truly was just an overall extremely comical motion picture with some romance mixed in,but even the way that played out was humorous. Oh, and there was also some nudity in the flick. Ashton showed his behind and we also caught a peek at Natalie’s buttocks, but only for a short moment. I gave the flick a grade A score.
